Dr. Dmitry Peysakhov grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, where his interest in science and patient care led him toward a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Known for his calm demeanor and attention to detail, Dr. Peysakhov combines advanced surgical skill with a genuine dedication to his patients’ comfort and confidence.
Education & Training
Dr. Peysakhov completed his:
- Bachelor of Science at the University of Massachusetts (2003)
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (2007)
He went on to complete an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Hartford Hospital, followed by a comprehensive residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
During his residency, Dr. Peysakhov gained extensive experience in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including:
- Facial trauma and reconstruction
- TMJ surgery
- Treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
- Facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
He has also lectured locally and nationally, and has authored numerous articles and a book chapter in one of the leading textbooks on maxillofacial trauma.

Dr. Peysakhov’s clinical practice covers a wide range of office-based and hospital-based surgical procedures, including:
- Office general anesthesia and sedation
- Wisdom teeth and other dentoalveolar surgery
- Bone grafting and dental implant reconstruction
- Maxillofacial trauma and corrective jaw surgery
- Oral pathology and OSA treatment
- TMJ surgery
- Cosmetic facial procedures such as Botox® and dermal fillers

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Peysakhov enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, playing classical guitar, and training and competing in Judo. His balance of precision, artistry, and discipline carries through from his personal passions to his surgical practice.
